Chris Radicle

I moved from the Pine Barrens of South Jersey to Brooklyn in 2009. After a few years in the city I started a solo gardening business and worked gardens all over the borough.

Gardening led me to herbalism, then to growing food, then to traditional systems of medicine: Chinese and Ayurvedic. I went to herb school, apprenticed, and worked at an herb shop. In 2015 I opened Radicle Herb Shop, an apothecary and teaching space in Brooklyn built around people and plants.

The shop closed in 2023 and I moved into software: RadicleHerbal, an app for herbalists, then operations systems for small businesses, then iOS development.

Today I work in both worlds. RadicleTerra designs and builds gardens. RadQode builds operations software for landscape designers and contractors.
