Moved from the Pine Barrens in South Jersey to Brooklyn in 2009. After a few years in the city, felt the pull to spend more time outdoors. Started a solo gardening operation, advertising on Craigslist.
Working with plants in an urban environment made something clear: living in a city hits different when balanced with a real connection to the earth and soil. That recognition set the direction.
Gardening led to herbalism, then growing food plants, then the deeper traditions: Chinese medicine first, then Ayurveda. Herb school followed. Apprenticeships. Working in an herb shop. In 2015, opened Radicle Herb Shop, an herbal apothecary and community space built around education and the relationship between people and plants.
When the shop closed in 2023, a new path opened through app development. Started with RadicleHerbal, an herbalism app, then moved into operations systems for small businesses, then iOS development. All tools at the intersection of nature, technology, and education.
Full circle. Back to the garden, now with business experience and software development knowledge combined. RadicleTerra does garden design and builds. The consultancy side develops landscaping business apps for several landscape designers.
App development consultancy. Glide and iOS. Building operations systems and automation stacks for small businesses and contractors.
